Bone Armor Bracer (Transformable Armor):

This magic item is popular among necromancers, knights who consider themselves to be on the darker side of the knighthood, and assassins. While the item itself is not evil, those who see the bracer usually consider the wearer to be evil. It is created through the combination of necromancy and alchemy. These items are rare because only a few know how to create these bracers.

They appear to be a bracer which fits almost from wrist to elbow. As might be expected, the bracer itself is made from bone. In some cases, the bracer is a single large plate of bone plates while others are made from multiple bone plates. They can be found in a number of different styles with some a simple plate while others highly carved.

When activated, a suit of bone armor forms around the wearer of the bracer. Even though the armor appears to be fairly heavy, it is basically weightless. It can be activated up to three times per day and six minutes per activation. Simple concentration or a command word by the wearer of the bracer activates it. The appearance of the armor can be quite scary and causes fear in those who look at the wearer. That is one of the reason why it is so popular with some.
