Enchanted Carving Tools (Miscellaneous Magic Items):

Magic set of carving tools, normally four, which are enchanted so that they are extremely sharp and can be used to carve virtually anything including the creation of wards. These tools reduce the time required to create non-magical carvings by half and reduce the time required to make magical carving, such as the creation of wards, by one quarter. As a result, these magic items are extremely prized by Diabolists and Alchemists. Sometimes an expert craftsman who is not a practitioner of magic will possess them as well These items are relatively common for magic items in many major cities. While extremely sharp and never dulling, they are not considered effective as weapons.

These magic carving tools are often highly decorated, sometimes virtual works of art, with some having ivory or bone handles. These tools are usually carried in either a leather box or a small carrying box. The pouch or carrying box are often highly decorative as well. The carrying box will usually be either be made from metal or wood.
