Ruger Redhawk [Revolver]:
The Ruger Redhawk was first introduced in 1979 and was one of the most powerful handguns in the world at the time of its introduction. The large frame revolver had several unique features in the design. It is considered a very useful hunting revolver and is relatively affordable. The Ruger Redhawk has a very similar version know as the Super Redhawk which is longer barreled and available in larger calibers.
The Redhawk is a conventional Double Action revolver. The Ruger Redhawk is made from high grade steel and is avialble as either blued or stainless steel. The Redhawk is reinforced to handle extra stress. The revolver has forward ramp sites with four interchangeable inserts. The rear sights are adjustable with white outline. The Redhawk is also available with scope mounts and rings. Stocks and Grips are Walnut.
The Redhawk holds six rounds of ammunition in its cylinder in either .44 magnum or .45 Long Colt. The Revolver is available with 5.5 inch or 7.5 inch barrel.
