SIG P229 [Automatic Pistol]:

The P229 is essentially a P228 in the calibers of .357 SIG and .40 S&W, but with a difference which sets it apart from all other P series guns: in order to make the slide strong enough for the powerful cartridges, it was made from a single block of machined steel, instead of sheet metal with steel inserts, like all the other P series guns have. The P229 is like all SIG guns a strong, accurate and reliable firearm, and has been adapted by several police forces throughout the USA. As with all SIG guns there is a decocking lever on the left side of the frame.

The P229 uses a 12 round magazine, and is available with different finishes.
