PM Makarov [Automatic Pistol]:
This is the standard sidearm of the former Warsaw Pact nations. A double action handgun, it owes much of its heritage to the Walther PPK. The original 9 mm Makarov that it fires is slightly more powerful than the .380 ACP, but the gun cannot fire the 9 mm parabellum round. There is a second version that fores the .380 ACP round. It is generally of acceptable finish and quality, and a few US firms make aftermarket accesoires for this pistol.
