Browning HP-35 [Automatic Pistol]:

THE handgun that Browning is most associated with, it has been (and is) the standard handgun for dozens of militaries from countries all over the world, such as Belgium, the Netherlands, Great Brittain, Canada, Denmark, etc.. It is a highly reliable gun, and is only now being replaced because most of the guns are simply used up after decades of service. Hundreds of thousands have been and are being made, and it is very common.

Recently a version in .40 S&W has been introduced.
