Disposition:

As with all whom are in the presence of the portal of the asylum of Azlum, she had no memory of it. She does however know that she was once completely loyal to the Splugorth and now she is not. She also sees what she did for them to be horrible. As she sees it now, one should not kill or enslave just because that it what you are ordered to do. In fact, one should never enslave another sentient being and one should only kill when you have to save your life. Even then, it should not be with regret.

Even though she deeply regrets what she did, she does see that being as a different person in many respects. As such, she is not ready to bare her neck for the blade in penance for what she once did. Instead, she can only try to make amends for what she once did.

Even though her motivations have basically flipped, she still has some elements that remain the same. One of these is that she is still extremely driven and disciplined. Personal honor remains very important to her although what it means has changed immensely. She does have a hard time making friends. If she does make a friend, she is quite loyal to them though.

The she has an extreme phobia of both the Splugorth and their High Lords. If at all possible, she will do whatever possible to flee them. Does not have the same fear of other servants of the Splugorth although she is not trusting of them and will be on guard. As with her change in personality, this fear was manifested through being in the presence of the portal in Azlum.

Appearance:

As with many Altara Warrior Women, she is incredibly attractive. One might even consider her to be in the super model category. As with other Altara, she is completely bald naturally. In height, she is considered somewhere around average for one of her race, being just under six feet in height. While she is extremely toned with regard to her build, she does not look as strong as she is in reality. She is quite pale in complexion but not quite colorless although her skin is virtually flawless. Her natural eye color is grey but anybody looking at her will be able to see she is blind.

Of course she rarely does not wear dark sun glasses covering her eyes, concealing her sightlessness. In addition, she wears a long full black wig which hangs down to almost her waist. For cosmetics, she wears bright red lip gloss but otherwise does not wear much in the way of cosmetics.

For costume, she wears a body glove usually which is blue and yellow. Other this she wears a an armored jacket which is in similar colors. Her two swords are usually carried to either side with her pistol carried just behind her left sword scabbard in a reverse holster. Does have some other clothing she sometimes wears when is not in costume including a number of sun dresses. She generally likes relatively bright colors.

Kittani K-HVH is a low altitude hover vehicle. The vehicle fits one pilot and three passenger as well as having a 3x3x3 ft (.9 x .09 x .09) meter cargo space. Weight of the vehicle is around 3 tons (2.72 metric tons.) It is water tight. Does not mount any weapons.

Background:


Altara Warrior Women follow the orders of their masters because if they do not, it means death. Often that death will not even be quick but instead slow and painful. Many however follow their orders because they truly accept and enjoy their position in life. Nabilia was one of these. Very disciplined, she considered orders to be obeyed without question.


There is much blood on her hands from following orders. If she was told to kill someone, she would kill them without any questions asked. There are also thousands of slaves brought to Atlantis which she can be considered directly responsible. Never worried about why they were being enslaved, even if their final purpose was simply as food.


She was often the commander among the Altara Warrior Women on a slaver barge. She led the effort to herd the captives so that they could be brought back to Atlantis to be enslaved. It was a point of pride to her to do it as quickly, neatly, and efficiently as possible.


In addition, she was often sent out on independent missions, even outside of Atlantis. Many of these were extremely dangerous as well. There were several cases where she was sent out to capture Altara Warrior Women who went rogue. Being that loyalty was extremely important to her, she took these on with even more zeal than her other missions.


This all changed one day however. She was assigned to take a prisoner to the secret portal in the asylum of Azlum. The human was suppose to be exposed to the light but an accident happened and she was exposed to it instead. In a brief flash of light, everything changed. Even though she cannot see, it effected her as it does others who are exposed to it. As with all who are exposed to it, she has no memories of what occurred.


As soon as it was learned what had happened, she was imprisoned where she was extensively studied. Unlike many of the rogue Altara Warrior Women which she had been sent to hunt down, she was not even tortured. She thought long and hard about what she had done in the past. Everything became turned around where she felt horrible about all of the being whom she had killed for her masters and all of the slaves that she had brought to Atlantis for various horrible fates.


Where once she was completely loyal to the Splugorth and their minions, she now feared them with every fiber of her being. In fact, it was a debilitating fear where she would cower in her cell whenever they came near. This was even though they did not even actually hurt her but just watch and study her. In part, it was this fear which drove her to look for any way that she might escape from her prison.


Did discover however that she had become a far more psychic than she had ever been before. One of those abilities was the ability to persuade others with often just a word. When she had been a loyal minion of the Splugorth, one of her few weaknesses was a lack of subtly. As such, nobody expected that she might try to simply persuade her jailers to let her go.


Once she escaped her cell, she was able to acquire the standard gear of an Altara Warrior Woman. While there were not many around the prison complex, there were at least a few. Dressed in that manner, there were few who noticed her. By the time they figured out that she had escaped, she had almost reached the landing pads. On the pad was a Kittani hover skimmer but she had to fight several Kydians in order to reach the craft.


She was a decent enough hover craft pilot and was able to make her escape. In order that they could not catch her, she flew an extremely roundabout course, weaving through the mountains initially. In addition, she kept the craft extremely low, almost scraping the ground in order to further reduce their ability to track her.


When she reached the ocean, she would be extremely vulnerable to tracking but luckily there was a major storm buffeting the coast. This was not by accident, she had heard some of her jailors talking about the storm striking. With the storm, she was able to escape from Atlantis itself.


Once away from Atlantis, she reinvented herself. Switched the eye shields for a set of normal looking sun glasses. In addition, she began wearing a long flowing raven wig with hair down to almost her waist. Started wearing a blue and yellow body suit over her body armor. In addition, she added a Branaghan Armor Overcoat as well for additional protection. As such, few recognize that she is an Altara Warrior Woman. Took the name “Nightingale” after somebody suggested after hearing her sing. She often claims to be either a mind mage / mind melter or a psi-warrior.
