Elven Scale Armors (Conventional Magic Items):
- Elven Light Scale Armor:
- This armor is a very thin and skin tight body suit of tiny interlocking
black, dark green, or dark grey scales. On close inspection, it looks like
each of the scales are lacquered. For protection, there are few armors
that give as good a protection and are as light weight as this armor at
the same time. An interested facet of this armor is that either a magic
spark or psionic impulse is needed to cause the suit to be released. It
effectively costs less than a single P.P.E. or I.S.P. but it is required
that the wearer is either a psychic or a mage. The armor is generally worn
most frequently in High Tech societies such as the Rifts Universe, Three
Galaxies, and even elves that exist in twentieth century societies. The
armor is so lightweight and so thin that the armor can be worn under clothing.
The suit is noiseless and has no penalties to prowl. Occasionally a suit
will be given to a human that is good friends of a Elven Tribe / Nation.
S.D.C. (In S.D.C. Environment): 150 (A.R.: 15).

- A thinker set of Elven scale mail designed for heavy combat. Like the
light Elven scale mail, the suit is constructed from tiny interlocking
black, dark green, or dark grey scales that appear to be lacquered. This
armor gives protection equal to many of the heaviest non magic armors yet
is still comparatively light weight. Like the lightweight suit, either
a magic spark or psionic impulse is needed to cause the suit to be released.
It effectively costs less than a single P.P.E. or I.S.P. but it is required
that the wearer is either a psychic or a mage. The armor is generally worn
most frequently in High Tech societies such as the Rifts Universe, Three
Galaxies, and even elves that exist in twentieth century societies. Unlike
the lighter suit, the suit does not have the ability to be worn underneath
clothing. The suit is not full noiseless but is very quiet and has few
penalties to prowl. Occasionally a suit will be given to a human that is
good friends of a Elven Tribe / Nation.
