Optional Major Psychic Rules:

Many players do not like losing a large amount of skills when a character is a major psychic. As well, in many cases they actually have less skills than a mastic psychic character class such as Mind Mage or Mind Melter. Still, developing the psychic talents of a major psychic requires considerable effort so should not be cost free.

As an alternative, instead of reducing bonuses for O.C.C. skills and number of O.C.C. related skills, increase the amount of experience per level by 10%. Otherwise, treat as standard for a major psychic. If the psychic selects from one category, select a total of eight (8) psychic talents. If the psychic selects from two or three category, select a total of six (6) psychic talents. No super psychic abilities can be chosen. Base I.S.P. is Mental Endurance (M.E.) plus 4D6. Add the roll of 1D6+1 per each level of experience.

Minor psychic are unchanged and do not pay any additional experience points. They still select two psychic talents from a single psychic category not including super psychic talents. Base I.S.P. is Mental Endurance (M.E.) plus 2D6. Add the roll of 1D6 per each level of experience.
