Simply the greatest motivation for Olivia is revenge. Specifically revenge against vampires. To her, the only good vampire is a dead vampire. Since her family were killed by vampires, that has been her driving force. Minion who willingly serve vampires are almost as bad and like vampires, she will slay them if she can. Other supernatural creatures come in a distant third and she is far more likely to consider before responding to them. She has no hatred of the Coalition but is weary when dealing with them due to her use of magic items and their reaction to those who use any form of magic.
The Armorer is not suicidal and she has no interest in martyring herself. Instead, she is interested in making the vampires pay for what they have done. She has an incredibly strong will which makes her able to withstand their abilities far better than most. If she can take a straggler, she will without much planning but she is also quite capable of quite elaborate planning for dealing with vampires or their minions. Olivia is slightly unusual in the fact that she does not use any energy weapons, preferring projectile type weapons. She has found that they work almost as well as most energy weapons and can be loaded to be effective against vampires something which energy weapons are virtually useless against. She makes much of her own ammo for the weapons. She will make weapons for others to help fight vampires and often charges little for it.
Sometimes one can see what she was like before the tragedy. There is buried inside her a girl who likes to have fun and used to love to party before her family were killed. She used to love to flirt with guys and was a very outgoing person. For the most part this is dead now although perhaps one day it may come back. None of this means that she cannot work with allies and she clearly realizes that she can only do so much on her own and looks for others who can help her. Her insistence and hatred of vampires can be a bit abrasive but she is loyal to those around her and she will do almost anything to protect someone from evil if she can.

Olivia is obvious of Spanish descent with quite dusky skin. There also appears to be hits of other groups in her background including various native tribes in all likelihood. Only of around average height, she is fairly muscular but still has quite nice curves and is definitely feminine. She has brown eyes that when she smiles make her face light up but seem to stare right through someone when angry. She has wide lips and she has a fairly narrow nose and she is quite attractive. She wears mainly dark makeup.
She spends most of her time in body armor of one sort or another. She has managed to acquire a suit of Coalition CA-4 body armor which she has modified to remove the overt Coalition symbolism as well as modifying the armor so it fits better and restricts her less than it would otherwise. If not in her heavy body armor, she wears a jumpsuit made from material similar to the suits which Blind Warrior Women wear. Both of her sets of armor are matt black. On her side, she always wears a pair of daggers carried by the Gurkha
Pump Pistol Cartridge Double Barrel Derringer: Weight: 2 lbs (0.91 kg)
Weapon uses the same cartridges as the TX-5 Pump Pistol but is instead is built as double barrel Derringer. The weapon is larger than a standard Derringer but is still small enough to be concealed yet packs quite a bit of firepower. The trigger is a double catch style that allows one or both barrels to be fired at the same time.Normally carried concealed when traveling. Armed with twin mini-missile launchers - 12 mini-missiles each, half are anti-vampire missiles and the other half armor piercing. Rate of fire is 1, 2, 4, or 6 missiles per attack.

Olivia was born the daughter of a pair of traveling mechanics in the lands which were once the southern part of the American Empire state of Texas. Now, much of the land is ruled by petty bandits. Still, most of the groups left her parents alone because everybody needs someone who can repair their weapons and armor. They made a pretty good trade in the land and attempted to never take sides.
Many of the families does south in these lands can still be considers Catholic although the religion has transformed incredibly by the intervening centuries of darkness. Still, some values are retained including the desire for large families. As a result, Olivia was but one member of a huge family, the girl being the second oldest of eight brothers and sisters. They traveled in a pair of Mountaineer heavy all terrain vehicles which were extremely crowded but still was considered home.
As she grew up, Olivia was taught the ways of a mechanic herself along with her other brothers and sisters. Each worked at repairing weapons and vehicles with their parents. They were suppose to meet someone they liked and started families of their own. To these ends, the family had been diligently saving for enough credits to get more vehicles so they could have room for families either if the group stayed together or separated. It is likely that eventually they would have gone off their own ways and sold their services as mechanics.
Then, on night, a group of vampires descended on the Mountaineer along with the village which they had stopped for the night. The village was almost on the shores of the Rio Grand. Three or four dozen in total, a huge number. North of the Rio Grand is suppose to be safe from vampires and it is unknown how they crossed the great river especially in such numbers. Sometimes one or two will sneak over but never seeming in such large numbers. The family had bedded down for the night and only one member of the family remained in armor and was armed for battle. This was Olivia's older brother and he was killed before he even noticed the vampires coming.
It is possible that the vampires planned to take the whole village but surprise but something went wrong. Possibly they planned to control the people. It had happened many times before. Several members of the family were minor psychics and sensed danger. They fought back and rallied as much of the village as possible. The children had been well trained in how to fight vampires although most wore no armor.
Near the beginning of the battle, both of Olivia's parents were killed but her brothers and sisters continued fighting along with many of the villagers. It was a blood bath with many killed but in the end the vampires were somehow driven from the village with over a dozen vampire killed. When they all had fled, Olivia realized that she was the only member of her family to survive.
At first all there was to do was bury the dead. Olivia helped the surviving villagers bury first her own family and their families. The villagers offered her a place to stay but tearfully she refused. Behind the tears, revenge had seized her heart. She was seventeen at the time but swore to dedicate her life towards slaying every single vampire she could as well as those who served vampires. Vampires cannot cross large rivers on their own and her assumption is that human allies helped them cross the huge river. With that, she gathered up everything she could into one Mountaineer and head off, abandoning the other.
Ever since, Olivia has been fighting the undead. Sometimes she found allies to help her in the endeavors, sometimes she has fought alone. She has always fought smart though. She has seen some in similar circumstances to hers who basically did little more than commit suicide. That has never been her goal and she realizes that there are many more of them than her. As an armorer, she has also aided others in their fight, making weapons for them to fight vampires better. While in some cases she has done this for free, she usually charges just enough to support her expenses. Of course to support herself, she does other repair work at times.
