Disposition: Nice and happy-go-lucky in most cases but is sometimes a bit down. He is very loyal to his friends but does miss the order of being in the Coalition and his dog pack. Being on his own is far more complex than when he was in the military. He realizes that he cannot go back and is hunted but it is in the back of his mind. Another problem he has is having unpleasant visions from his clairvoyance. He dislikes violence, especially to those less able to protect themselves, but is not really squeamish and will do what he has to do.

Floyd is dark brown with black spots and has a passing resemblance to "Scooby Doo" from the Pre-Rifts comics / cartoon. When he has been called that, he takes it in good humor. The resemblance only goes so far because he is tall and is very muscular especially when compared to humans. He prefers to wear camouflage fatigues and armor

Floyd was born in the Lone Star complex. He was not one of the clones which the Coalition also create in small numbers. He was raised to be a loyal soldier and he never showed anything other than obedience to those above them. Even when he was given orders to destroy a village, he followed what he was told. The truth was that he never liked the idea of it.

During his time with the dog packs, he never showed much interest in becoming a leader but was always solid in supporting the pack itself. He never resented the fact that many humans looked down at him. Several times the pack he was with was decimated and he ended up transferring to a new pack.

The last mission he was sent on was to deal with a group of elves who resided near the northern limits of what the Coalition controlled. The packs job was to support a special forces group whom was actually considered to be in charge. One of the Special Forces Troopers was a woman name who went by the name of "Winter" and when he saw her fight with twin daggers, he asked if she could teach him how to use them.

The team, both Dog Pack and Special Forces found themselves both overwhelmed and outnumbers. They had no real choice but to surrender or die. The Psi-Hound who was leading the Dog Pack was convinced by their captors into leaving the Coalition. The rest of the pack also followed their Alpha including Floyd. Part of the Special Forces Team, including Winter, were able to escape. It would have been a death sentence if the pack was to try and return to the Coalition.

Free from the Coalition, the pack did some traveling before settling in an abandoned town in what had been the old American Empire State of Colorado. Being pretty well protected by the pack, the town was a safe haven and the town began to gather settlers. A few additional adventurers also settled in the town, bringing up the protectors of the town even more.

One of the members of the pack, a black Doberman by the name of Arrack left the town to go after his own goals. Soon after Arrack left, Floyd started getting visions of terrible occurrences with Arrack as the center of them. He attempted to first get the assistance of his pack leader but the leader was occupied with other activities so Floyd decided to go on his own.
