She was never what was considered a true rogue but she never really did fit in during the time she was growing up, the Nineteen-Fifties. She never accepted the status of the way women were suppose to be, that woman were simply suppose to marry and produce a family. In spite of being a bit of a rebel, she was always a pretty cheerful woman and was friendly with those that gave her no cause to not be. She always was interested in travel and adventure and loved listening to tales of far away worlds.
While she could never be considered a true warrior, she is quite willing to defend herself and protect those around her. She also has a realizations that others around her can be extremely dangerous. This especially included the Rifts Earth world where there are incredible dangers.
She is quite loyal to her friends but is devoted to her husband. Even though she believes in standing up for herself and it is something he encourages, she does not see any conflict with her love and devotion to her husband. Of course he is just as devoted to her. She never was much one for religion and was always content to leave others beliefs alone.

Casey is a relatively slim woman who is just shy of average height. She is quite attractive although likely not quite of model quality. She has chestnut brown hair which she keeps in a relatively short pony tail. She is not quite unconventional enough to cut it off and a pony tail is relatively easy to take care of. Her eyes are a soft brown which seem to show kindness and compassion. Her skin is fairly pale and she has fairly sharp features although they do not make her unattractive. She does not wear too much in the way of cosmetics.
Sometimes she will wear skirts but she does not feel restricted to them and will wear almost anything. Pants and armor as needed by where she is and she does like a wide variety of styles. While traveling, she will rarely wear skirts considering them to kind of restrictive in dangerous situations. She did take a while to get used to jump suits as form fitting as they can be.

Casey was born in the United States during the late Nineteen-Thirties and grew up in classic "small town" America. It was a mid-western farming town for the most part, not changed much over the years, likely since the turn of the century. They had electricity and an automobile. Casey's first memories as a young girl were those of World War Two and remember listening intently at the radio for news.
Her family was fairly tradition and did believe that a woman's place was in the home. Like many, her family was quite patriotic. While they did have religious beliefs, they were not ultra religious for the Nineteen-Fifties. Like many of the time, they were a bit racist as well.
For as long as she could remember, she dreamed of a young boy that seemed to be around her age or just a few years older. He started as a young boy and as she grew older, he seemed to grow older as well. When she mentioned the dreams to her parents, they took them as just the dreams of a young girl looking to get married one day. It did not help that he was quite attractive as well. There are parts of the dreams which she did not mention like the fact that he had quite long hair for a man, something which went against the social values at the time.
With men coming back from the war, women were expected in many parts to take their places back in the home again. Like most of the girls growing up during the late Nineteen-Forties and throughout the Nineteen-Fifties, she was taught mostly the skills which were considered what a housewife and mother would need. It was then that she started to rebel, not really fitting into the stereotypes of women of the time. She idolized Katharine Hepburn and well as having a great love of reading history books. In many cases, when she found something that she questioned, she would ask uncomfortable questions about it.
She also loved athletic pursuits including running, swimming, and a wide variety of sports. As well, she had an uncle in who had served in World War Two, her father had not actually served, and she managed to talk her uncle into teaching her how to defend herself in hand to hand. She also was able to talk him into showing her how to shoot a revolver. Shooting weapons was not unknown for women but was still uncommon. She was never much interested in hunting so never learned how to shoot a rifle.
As she went through puberty, she began to be able to see the supernatural. It appears that nobody else in her family has any real sensitivity to the actual supernatural. She talked about a few of them but her family seemed to act as if she was crazy. She soon learned to keep quiet about it. Still, she knew deep in her gut that something that something was definitely wrong and really wrong at that.
Around the same time as she graduated high school, whatever happened seemed to be getting much worse. It seemed like there was something wrong. Around the same time, the movie "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" came out. At first she thought she was seeing things but slowly she came to the conclusion that what she was seeing was real. Some kind of otherworldly monster was controlling many of the key members of the town. She despaired about what she could do. Who could help her that would actually believe her.
Maybe silent pleas for help transited time and space. A group of strangers appeared in the town, completely out of touch with the time. One was the boy who she had seen in her dreams for many years. It turned that he was real after all. Going by the name of Spirit, now he was a man and a skilled psychic warrior. Like her, he had dreamed about her for years. There was an immediate draw between the two of them.
With him were even more strange individuals. One of them was a female knight named Raven. Someone like her was completely against all the stereotypes of the time. There was also a city kid from the same time as Spirit who was strange by anything which Casey had ever seen. Even stranger was a Lizard type creature who was an incredibly powerful spell caster and two strange creatures which appeared to be psychic and magical worms. They were called Zembaks.
It turned out that a creature known as a Mindolar had found its was to the world Casey inhabited and had been effectively taken over the small town. What the creatures eventual goals are is still unknown but it would not have been good. Between Spirit's psychic abilities, the Lizard Mage's magical abilities, the Zembaks' magical and psionic abilities, and the two others fighting abilities, they were able to defeat the creature. Even though the Lizard Mage's motivations can be questionable, he was fighting on the side of the angels at this time.
At first she was not sure but eventually Casey decided to travel back with Spirit to where he came from. While she would miss her family even though she did not always agree with them, she knew that Spirit and her were destined for each other. He also would not fit into this time and she knew her own views were out of step with the times.
No matter what, Rifts Earth was still a shock. She was able to get over the shock though and as time went on, the two became closer and closer. Eventually the two decided to get married.
