Techno-Wizard Star Lance:
These weapons are relatively simple magic items which are easier to make than more powerful techno-wizard weapons such at the Deathbringer and Battle Fury Sword. They are popular with Knights in general including Cyber Knights. Recently, these techno-wizard magic items have been introduced into England and are becoming extremely popular with the knights there.
When not active, this weapon appears to be an extremely short lance of about six to eight feet (1.8 to 2.4 meters) in length and ending in a blunt end instead of a point. Most "Star Lances" widen into a short shield structure just before a narrower handle for the wielder to hold onto. The handle is usually around a foot and a half (0.45 meters) in length. Some lances are made from wood, usually enchanted with the spell of ironwood, while others are made from high tech alloys. Some lances, especially those carried by famous knights, can be extremely decorative with inlaid gold and silver.
The weapon has two separate enchantments. The first is that a powerful lightning bolt can be fired from the weapon. This lightning bolt has a range of over hundreds of feet but requires the expensive of magic or psychic energy each time a lightning bolt is fired. The second power is that a long energy blade can be created, similar to the 'light blade' sword. The energy blade has all the bonuses and penalties of the spell 'light blade' although due to the bulkiness of the weapon, it cannot be effectively used to parry energy bolts.
If the weapon is created by a low level techno-wizard (first through third level), the weapon's energy blade will extend about 2.5 feet (0.8 meters) from the flat tip of the lance and be around 1 inch(2.5 cm) wide. A mid level techno-wizard (fourth through ninth level) will make the lance with an energy blade of around 3.75 feet long and 2.5 inches wide (1.1 meters long and 6.4 cm wide.) A high level techno-wizard will make the lance with an energy blade of around 4.25 feet long (1.3 meters) and have a blade about four inches (10 cm) wide.

Mega Damage: None when not active, can create "light blades" with damage of 1D4x10+1 per level of creator and can fire lightning bolts which inflict 1D6x10 + 1 point per level of experience of creator.

Powers:
- Light Blade: When 20 P.P.E. or 40 I.S.P. is channeled into the
weapon, a long energy blade is created extending out from the tip of the
lance. Blade inflicts 1D4x10 + 1 point per level of experience of creator
and has a duration of one (1) minute per level of experience of creator.
Against Vampires, Shadow Beasts, and other creatures vulnerable to light,
the light blade inflicts double damage (double damage to hit points on
vampires.) The weapon inflicts no damage to targets that are impervious
to energy. When used in this manner, the lance has +1 to strike
Lightning Bolt: When 20 P.P.E. or 40 I.S.P. is channeled into the weapon, a powerful bolt of lighting (actually sub-particle acceleration) is fired from the flat tip of the lance. Lightning Bolt inflicts 1D6x10 + 1 point per level of experience of creator and has a range of 100 feet (30.48 meters) per level of experience of creator.
