Human Alliance Military Weapons and Armor (Three Galaxies):

Presently, the Human Alliance uses mostly Consortium small arms. This list is of generally older equipment. Such equipment can be found as second line equipment and in the arms of independent defense forces. In addition, large numbers of this older equipment has been declared surplus and may be found in the hands of mercenaries and adventurers.

Body Armor:

H.A. A-1 Jumpsuit:

This suit is in many ways the predecessor to the Consortium Jumpsuit. It is slightly less armored than the later Consortium design and is slightly more massive. Still, the suit is reasonably popular due to being relatively inexpensive.

When in hostile environment or in a vacuum, gloves and a helmet are worn. Jumpsuits have limited life support compared to most hard , one hour, although can attach an air tank for extended use. Has a standard communication suit built into the armor and also is designed to deal with high temperatures and radiation.

M.D.C.:

Main Body: 20.

Head: 16.

Arms (2): 10.

Legs (2): 12.

Weight: 12.5 lbs (5.67 kg).

Penalties: Great Mobility; -2% prowl penalty (No penalty to climbing).

Market Cost: 16,000 credits.

H.A. A-2 Light Combat Armor:

This body armor was originally standard issue for combat troops in the Human Alliance armed forces. The armor is reasonably light weight while giving decent protection. Surplus suits are reasonably common and popular due to being comparatively inexpensive. Often used by mercenaries but some independent defense forces use the armor as well.

M.D.C.:

Main Body: 75.

Head: 60.

Arms (2): 45.

Legs (2): 55.

Weight: 20 lbs (9.07 kg).

Market Cost: 22,000 credits.

H.A. A-3 Heavy Combat Armor:

Heavier combat armor which fills the role of the Consortium Heavy Battle Armor. Usually issued to heavy infantry units. Gives reasonably decent mobility but mobility is reduced compared to standard combat armor. As surplus armor, the armor is affordable and quite popular.

M.D.C.:

Main Body: 90.

Head: 75.

Arms (2): 55.

Legs (2): 70.

Market Cost: 45,000 credits.

Pistols:

H.A. AEP-16 Automatic Explosive Pistol:

Originally the Human Alliance lacked the technology to manufacture pistol class rail guns. Instead, they used automatic pistols in the role using advanced chemical propellants and explosive armor piercing rounds. Has a recoil suppressor to allow pistol to be fired. As one might expect, the weapon is relatively large bore (15 mm) and is shorter ranged than the laser pistols.

Weight: 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg).

Mega Damage: 2D6 per round.

Rate of Fire: Standard.

Maximum Effective Range: 500 feet (152.4 meters).

Payload: 10+1 rounds.

Market Cost: 12,000 credits. Rounds are 25 credits each.

H.A. LP-8 Heavy Laser Pistol:

Was originally standard issue heavy laser pistol to Human Alliance and was popular with fighter pilots and officers. It is still a more effective weapon in many respects to the EP-5 Pistol operated used by Trans-Galactic Empire personnel. There is a field modified version of the L-8 which is modified to fire two shot bursts. Weighs about a quarter kilogram more than the original L-8 pistol.

Weight: 3.5 lbs (1.58 kg). [Field Modified: 4 lbs (1.81 kg)].

Mega Damage: 3D6. [Field Modified: 3D6 per single shot or 6D6 for a rapid fire two shot burst].

Rate of Fire: Single Shot. [Field Modified: Single Shot or Two Blast Burst].

Maximum Effective Range: 800 feet (243.8 meters).

Payload: 15 shots per short E-Clip or 25 shots per long E-Clip.

Market Cost: 15,000 credits. [Field Modified: 25,000 Credits].

H.A. LP-12 Laser Pistol:

Was originally standard issue to Human Alliance personnel for sidearms and was often carried by vehicle crews. Weapon has reasonably good range and is quite powerful for its size. It is however more massive than newer Consortium weaponry.

Weight: 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg)

Mega Damage: 2D6.

Rate of Fire: Single shot.

Maximum Effective Range: 800 feet (243.8 meters).

Payload: 20 shots per short E-Clip or 30 shots per long E-Clip.

Market Cost: 10,000 credits.

Rifles:

H.A. AER-34 Automatic Explosive Rifle:

Like the Automatic Explosive Pistol, takes the role of handheld rail guns and uses explosive armor piercing rounds. These rounds are not however compatible with those used in the pistol even though they are the same bore size (15 mm) and the rifle is longer ranged. In addition, the rifle has an advanced recoil buffer system and can fire bursts, making it quite effective.

Weight: 10.5 lbs (4.76 kg)

Mega Damage: 2D6+3 per single shot and 6D6+6 for three round burst.

Rate of Fire: Aimed, burst, wild, or three round burst.

Maximum Effective Range: 1,200 feet (365.8 meters).

Payload: 30 round magazine.

Market Cost: 18,000 credits. Rounds are 30 credits each.

H.A. LPC-40 Laser Pulse Carbine:

Lightweight laser carbine which is still extremely effective. Popular among adventurers although some prefer a heavier weapon. Because of the lightweight nature of the weapon, it is popular among vehicle crews with its ability to fire three blast bursts. The handle folds on the laser carbine to make it more compact. Still, slightly more bulky than the Black Eagle 5000 Rifle.

Weight: 6.5 lbs (2.95 kg)

Mega Damage: 3D6+2 for Single Blast and 1D6x10 for Three Simultaneous Blasts.

Rate of Fire: Single blast or three blast burst.

Maximum Effective Range: 1,600 feet (487.7 meters).

Payload: 20 shots per short E-Clip, 30 shots per long E-Clip, or 300 with a CAF power backpack.

Market Cost: 24,000 credits.

H.A. LPR-60 Laser Pulse Rifle:

Heavier and more powerful rifle which was standard issue to Human Alliance troops until replaced by the HI-80 Combat Laser Rifle. Still used in relatively large numbers around the Three Galaxies. Considered a bit on the bulky side to be used by vehicle crews. Has a longer range than the LPC-40 Carbine.

Weight: 8.5 lbs (3.86 kg)

Mega Damage: 3D6+6 per single shot, 1D6x10+10 for a rapid fire three shot burst.

Rate of Fire: Single blast or three blast burst.

Maximum Effective Range: 2,000 feet (609.6 meters).

Payload: 16 shots per short E-Clip, 24 shots per long E-Clip, or 240 with a CAF power backpack.

Market Cost: 32,000 credits.

H.A. LPSR-260 Laser Pulse Support Rifle:

Modified version of the LPR-60 which allows extended bursts to be fired from the rifle. Can be considered the functional equivalent of the M-60 used by the United States in the latter part of the Twentieth Century. The weapon can fire single shot, three round burst, or can fire fully automatic. Weapon is normally hooked up to a power backpack. Replaced in Human Alliance service with the HI-300.

Weight: 14.5 lbs (6.58 kg)

Mega Damage: 3D6+6 per single shot, 1D6x10+10 for a rapid fire three blast burst, or use machine gun burst rules for higher burst setting.

Rate of Fire: Single shot, three round burst, and extended bursts (use machine gun burst rules).

Maximum Effective Range: 2,000 feet (609.6 meters).

Payload: 16 shots per short E-Clip, 24 shots per long E-Clip, or 240 with a CAF power backpack.

Market Cost: 50,000 credits.

Heavy Weapons:

H.A. LRG-800 Lightweight Electromagnetic Rail Gun:

While the Human Alliance had not developed the extremely lightweight yet powerful electromagnetic rail guns, they did have lightweight rail guns for use by power armors. Fires an 8 mm round and is designed to fire single short, ten round bursts, and twenty round bursts. Was commonly carried by the Steel Grunt power armor.

Weight: 92.6 lbs (42.0 kg) for rail gun. Belt (200 rounds) weighs 32.9 lbs (14 kg) and Drum (1000 rounds) weights 154.3 lbs (70 kg)

Mega Damage: Ten (10) round burst inflicts 1D4x10 M.D.C., twenty (20) round bursts inflict 2D4x10 M.D.C., and one round does 2D6 M.D.C.

Rate of Fire: Single shot, ten round burst, or twenty round bursts (usually fires ten or twenty round bursts).

Maximum Effective Range: 6,000 feet (1,828.8 meters)

Payload: 200 round (20 / 10 burst) belt or 1,000 round (100 / 50 burst) drum

Market Cost: 40,000 credits.

H.A. MM-6 Mini-Missile Launcher:

Heavy but still extremely effective six shot mini-missile launcher. Looks much like a giant Bazooka type weapon. There have been a number of copies of this weapon produced by other powers and there are many similar weapon systems. Can be used outside of a power armor. In most cases, guided missiles are used in launcher.

Weight: 24 lbs (10.89 kg) without missiles or 38 lbs (17.24 kg) with missiles. Each extra missile weighs approximately an additional 2 lbs (0.91 kg).

Mega Damage: Varies with mini-missile type (See revised Phase World / Three Galaxies missile tables for details.)

Rate of Fire: Single Shot only (Equal to hand to hand attacks).

Maximum Effective Range: Mini-Missile range is 2 miles (3.2 km) in an atmosphere and 100 miles (161 km) in space.

Payload: Six (6), takes 15 seconds (one melee) to reload launcher.

Market Cost: 45,000 credits.
