Disposition:

One can describe her as evil but it is more callousness than anything else. She does not genuine pleasure from killing unlike some. It is more just that when somebody gets in her way, she is completely ruthless and sees nothing either killing them or hurting them. As well, when she is angry, she will vent than anger against all those around her and get a certain enjoyment out of taking her anger out on others.

Others lives, including family and those who might otherwise be her friends, are completely meaningless to her. Sees nothing with lying to others as well. If she steals an artifact and sells it, sees nothing to stealing it from the person that it was stole from to sell it again. That does not happen often however.

Does have something of a dark compelling charisma and pretty good generally at charming people if she is not angry. Has had quite a number of lovers over the years. Is extremely demanding of them and she is in control. Quite vain. Usually, she gets tired of her lovers quite quickly and her relationships tend to be quite short term. As with other people in her life, she sees nothing with betraying them either or taking advantage of them. Might take a museum staffer as a lover to find out about artifacts she could steal.

Does have a genuine love for archaeological artifacts, especially Naive American, but all times do interest her. Prefers smaller objects generally. Interestingly, when she breaks into a museum, trading house, or elsewhere to steal a artifacts, she will try to avoid destroying any other artifacts. Part of the reason why she likely has not discarded the items she has not been able to sell is due to the genuine love.

Appearance:

At just over five feet tall, Lana is not real tall. Even so, she was always surprisingly strong and athletic. Still, she had relatively large breasts. While appearing to be mostly Caucasian, there is a hint of Native American in her appearance. It gives her a certain exotic feel. Her skin is fairly light but just a little darker than one might expect from a pure Caucasian background. She has brown, very expressive eyes, and a slender almost delicate face. Usually keeps her hair pretty long, with her auburn hair hanging down to the small of her back. Occasionally will dye her hair various other colors. For cosmetics, she usually light to pair her lips a dark red.

The necklace wraps around her neck in a choker type fashion and of course she cannot take the bone necklace off of her neck. Part of the reason she keeps her hair is so she can hide it from the back. Does not like to always wear tops that cover her chest, likely to show a bit of cleavage. As a result, she has to get inventive in wearing a scarf around her neck. Of course, sometimes the easiest way to hide the necklace is to wear turtle neck style sweaters. Otherwise, she likes all types of clothes, both dresses as well as jeans. Likes to wear dresses that are revealing as far as her breasts but cover her neck. Does sometimes like to wear high heels as well.

When she transforms, she gets taller and stronger, growing around eight inches in her transformation. In addition, she gets covered in a costume of bone, slightly yellowed. The bone costume includes a half skull face mask which one can still see her lips and lower face. Her eyes are visible through the skull’s eyes. From the skull’s back her auburn hair hangs out. Even in this form, there is something sexual about her. While it does not always have to cover her, she usually is covered in a set of form fitting bone armor and usually also has bone claws coming from her fingers. Prefers them over forearm blades.

Bone Queen’s Background:

At one time, it appeared as if Lana might have some day become an archaeologist. She was in her third year of college learning the skills of archaeology after all and even had a bit of field experience. There were some rumors that she might have taken a few valuable items from Native American dig sites. Nothing ever proven and most of her teachers and other students were willing to dismiss the allegations.

Maybe she was a bit selfish as well but not one would consider truly evil. Eventually, her taking valuable items from digs might have been discovered but even so, it is not likely she would have become the villain she ended up becoming. Maybe she would have reformed and become a professor in a university. Of course, there are professors who are not above selling an artifact or two.

Her life changed however when she was on a dig in the southwestern part of the United States. It was to have been an extremely important dig. Interestingly, the senior archaeologists had been told by the tribe that lived nearby that the location was cursed and that they should not dig there. Of course the warning was not heeded.

Lana was digging slightly away from the other students when she ran across a strange object. It looked to be a bone necklace. There was something that tugged at her as she frantically dug the whole thing. Even though it was suppose to be buried for thousands of years and should have crumpled to dust as she pulled it out. Instead, it appeared as if it had not been effected by the ravages of time only yellowed a little bit.

Seemingly compelled by a force, she could resist putting the necklace on. Suddenly the necklace grasped onto her neck and she could not pull it off. It was as if the necklace had crafted to her. Tried to get the necklace off desperately. but it would not budge. Wearing a short top, there was no way that she could hide it from the others involved in the dig either.

Having no choice, she was confronted by the heavy of the dig when she tried to leave. The professor began accusing her and Lana just got madder and madder. Still, the professor would not stop, demanding she take it off and that she was finished. The other students watched while the dressing down continued, some nervous while a full looked at the whole thing with some satisfaction.

Finally, Lana could take no more and began shouting herself. A completely unfamiliar word came to mind and she shouted it at the top of her lungs. Something really strange occurred at that point where bones began wrapping around her body, forming effectively a suit of armor. In addition, she felt like she was reborn, far stronger and tougher than she had ever been before. Something also broke inside of her with all of her anger being free.

Out of her hands grew claws and she shredded the professor who had been berating her. The other students tried to run. Her rage, not spent on the professor was vented on the other students. They tried to run but they were miles away from anywhere and one cannot outrun something that can run at greater than ninety miles an hour. A few tried to fight back but did little more than just pissing her off even more.

When somebody investigated the disappearance of the archaeological team, she was long gone. It was a bloody mess and there were a variety of theories of what had occurred. She was the only one who was not found and the leading theory for a while was that she had been kidnaped. In fact, she was lying low. Never close to even her parents, Lana never contacted even them.

Eventually, Lana began stealing various archaeological objects. With her knowledge, she could find the most valuable pieces to take. Her usual target would be either a museum or a trading house. Not really picky about what specific objects she might take. While in college, she largely specialized in Native American objects, she would grab any valuable objects including Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, African, and others. Even more unfortunate is that, seeing herself as a mass murderer and little to actually care, she did not concern herself much with casualties. If a security guard or another member of the staff got in her way, she would simply cut them down.

The contacts she made in her previous life were extremely valuable, allowing her to fence the various objects she discovered. There always is quite a mark for illicit artifacts even if the collectors cannot display what they have. Quickly, she became quite wealthy from her theft of valuable artifacts. Interestingly, a number of collectors began, though intermediaries, commissioning her to steal specific artifacts. While most have simply been simply extremely valuable items, it is rumored that some have been artifacts of power.

Has had a number of run ins with both heroes which have tried to stop her and villains who she has worked with. Sees nothing with betraying them if to her advantage. Otherwise, she has had a number of close calls although has always manages to fight her way out or escape.

As one might expect, she could not always get rid of what she had and ended up with a collection of stolen artifacts herself. Even sometimes a artifact that she was commissioned to steal remained in her possession. There were cases where collectors changed their mind or were unable to pay her for her services. Her eventual solution was to open up a trading house for artifacts under an assumed name. In the public gallery are relatively common artifacts legally acquired while the truly valuable artifacts are kept in a secret vault.
