Very powerful double action revolver available with a variety of different features and a variety of barrel lengths from short to long barrel varieties. Taurus revolvers are of high quality and craftsmanship and are fairly affordable.

The revolver is chambered in the powerful .44 magnum cartridge. The revolver has rubber grips and stock. The revolver is available in both blued and stainless steel. The revolver is available with 3 inch, 4 inch, 6.5 inch, and 8.375 inch barrels. The barrel has an integral compensator and the 6.5 inch, and 8.375 inch barrel versions have a vented rib. The revolver has ramp sights in the front and ajustable sights in the rear (3 inch barrel version has fixed rear sights. The Taurus model 44 is available in a double action only version with a concealed hammer. The revolver has a six shot cylinder.
